El alquiler de Cabinas Maleko que se utiliza actualmente como la estación de Policía de Tamarindo no se pagó aún por la Municipalidad. El propietario de Cabinas Maleko ha realizado varios viajes a Santa Cruz para pedir el pago según lo acordado en un convenio. La Asociación de Desarrollo Integral de Playa Tamarindo (AdiTamarindo) ha tratado de mediar y ayudar. En una reciente reunión en el Consejo Municipal el 31 de mayo de 2011, se acordó buscar una solución. La semana pasada el alcalde declaró que el convenio ya no es válida y que no hay dinero para el alquiler de la estación de policía de Tamarindo.
Normalmente, el Ministerio de Seguridad es responsable de dichos pagos, pero ya que no tenía los fondos de la Municipalidad acordó por escrito a pagar.
Después de varias cartas al Ministerio de Seguridad Pública en el pasado, la situación se dirigió de nuevo al Director Regional de la Fuerza Pública el jueves 09 de junio. The rent for Cabinas Maleko which is currently used as the Tamarindo Police station was not paid yet by the Municipalidad. The owner of Cabinas Maleko has made several trips to Santa Cruz to ask for the payment as agreed in a convenio. The Asociacion de Desarrollo Integral Playa Tamarindo (AdiTamarindo) has tried to mediate and help. In a recent meeting at the Consejo Municipal on May 31st 2011, was agreed to find a solution. Last week the Alcalde stated that the Convenio is not valid anymore and that there is no money for the rent of the Tamarindo police station.
Normally the Ministerio de Seguridad is responsible for such payments but since they had no funds the Municipalidad agreed in writing to pay for.
After several letters to the Ministerio de Seguridad Publica in the past, the situation was addressed again to the Director Regional from the Fuerza Publica on Thursday June 9th.
